We are delighted to announce that we will be holding a walking and sitting Meditation at the School Climate Strike, as part of the wider Global Climate Strike on Friday 20th Sept and you are warmly invited to join us for all or part of the action.
10.30am – Gather on the grass outside St James’s Café Benugo, Horse Guards Rd, St James’s Park, London SW1A 2BJ for a check-in and mindful singing

Nearest Tube: Charing Cross
11.30am – Commence slow walking meditation with banners and placards from St James’s Park to Millbank SW1P 3JA (just south of the Houses of Parliament) – this is the main hub for the action, we will walk through Victoria Palace Gardens (the main kids space & prayer space)
12ish – We will meditate together at Millbank (we’ll be sitting on the pavement so bring something to sit on). Please watch out for our placards if you joining here.
1.00pm – Bell and alarm clocks end the meditation after which we eat and share our mindful vegan lunch
2:00pm – Reassess actions either more sitting or move to a new location
End – Debrief, sharing circle and next action planning

You are invited to bring any placards inspired by Thay’s teachings or similar, vegan packed lunch and an alarm clock set to go off at 1.00pm to remind leaders that time is running out.
