So we’ve been chopping and changing a little bit recently. Here is a handy guide to what is happening when. All sessions at Westminster Quaker Meeting House, 8 Hop Gardens from 2.15pm until 5.00pm unless otherwise stated.

From time to time we might have to change things at the last minute (for example if we have no-one to facilitate) we’ll aim to do this by the end of Friday at the latest, so please check this page before you come. (We’ll try to send out an email to the mailing list too if there are last-minute changes –you can join it here)

Dear beloved community,

In view of the current government recommendations regarding the COVID-19 virus and in line with our mindfulness training and practice, we have taken the decision to suspend all face-to-face afternoons of mindfulness practice. These will be replaced with regular online Wake-Up afternoons of practice on Saturdays (14.30-16.15pm)  and regular evenings of mindfulness practice on Sundays (8pm-9pm). Please see below the registration links. We appreciate your understanding in these uncertain times.

18th of December 2020 Update – Dear Friends, Wake Up will be taking a two week break, with the sessions on the 19th & 26th of December cancelled. We will return to our normal online practise in the new year on Saturday 2nd of January 2021. Until then we hope you stay warm and safe!

Jan 2021 and beyond – online sessions.

Sat 27th of Feb – Unfortunately, we will not be holding the Saturday Afternoon of Mindfulness today. We hope to be back again next week.

13th of March- We are delighted to announce that UK dharma teacher Vari McLuskie  will lead us for our afternoon  of mindfulness  (14:30-16:30 ) into a session on the theme: ‘Caring for ourselves, Caring for the Earth’ ✨💚

13th of February- We are delighted to announce that lay dharma teacher Susanne Olbrich will be joining us  for our afternoon  of mindfulness  (14:30-16:30 ) and will offer a session on the theme ‘Resilience and Creativity in Times of Change’ 

We are currently meeting each Saturday on 2.30 – 4.15pm on zoom – register here.

There is an additional shorter session each Sunday evening 8- 9pm, which involves a 25-minute silent sit, short dharma reflection and dharma sharing. As there is no guided meditation it is most suitable for those with an existing meditation practice.  – register here.

October 10th. Our normal afternoon of mindfulness session will be cancelled and instead we will be having an online Be-In from 5pm – 7pm to celebrate Thay and Wake Ups continuation. Bring your beautiful selves, poetry, written words, quotes, songs or anything that you are inspired to and perhaps a way in which our teacher has touched your lives. – register here.
